Insurance

FUBiS tuition and program fee do not include any insurance coverage. Please be aware that health care in Germany can be expensive if you are not insured properly. Please contact your insurance provider to inquire if and what your health and personal liability insurance cover. Students must have health insurance which must be valid in Germany (preferably Europe) for the duration of the FUBiS programs. We urge you to obtain additional health, accident and personal liability insurance coverage if necessary.
Citizens of some countries are required to show proof of insurance when applying for a visa.

Please note that FUBiS is not liable for any medical expenses or damages.

FUBiS offers an insurance package for the duration of FUBiS (for a small fee). This policy includes

• health insurance
• accident insurance and
• personal liability insurance

The insurance package can be purchased during the registration process. You will find further details in the infosheet.

It is also possible to purchase the personal liability insurance separately (for a small fee).

The student guide contains detailed information about the closest doctor, dentist and hospital to the FUBiS apartments as well as the most important emergency numbers.
